Palm Juice also called Palm Toddy or simply Toddy is a non-alcoholic beverage created from the sap of various species of palm tree such as the Palmyra, and coconut palms. This drink is common in various parts of Asia and Africa, and goes by various names, such as "emu" and "oguro" in Nigeria, nsafufuo in Ghana, Matango in Cameroon, kallu in South India, Malaysia and Sri Lanka, Ubusulu in South Africa, Poyo in Sierra Leone, tuba in the Philippines, Borneo and Mexico.Palm Juice is also consumed in Papua New Guinea, known as Segero or Tuak.
